Bad News I'm Afraid...

Thank you to everyone that took the time to complete our recent rider survey. We had a great response with nearly 800 people completing the form which has given us some important data on what people expect from Mountain Mayhem right now.

Firstly, it’s great to see that there is still a great affinity and love for Mountain Mayhem. Unfortunately, the results from the survey quite clearly show that what people want and expect from the event does not tally with what they are prepared to pay for it. Whilst we really want to stage the event and celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mountain Mayhem, it just does not add up financially. These events are costly to produce and with all the information we have, coupled with the rising supplier costs and the general state of the economy, it means that it is quite honestly too much of a risk for us to stage the event in 2023.

We will continue to work towards finding a solution to getting Mountain Mayhem back on as a 24hr race, as it means a lot to us and the MTB community, but sadly it isn’t going to be in 2023.
